Hi 👋

For those of you who don’t recognise this face, I’m Robyn. I started this business in October 2020.

Im a single mum of 4 kids and 4 dogs. 2 of my kids are on the spectrum (1 diagnosed and 1 in diagnosis) and 1 child who has recently been diagnosed with CVS (yeah I didn’t know what it was either) and my daughter who has suffered from anxiety attacks but touch wood seems to be doing good. Life is chaotic. There’s never a time the school isn’t calling, never a time I don’t have an appointment somewhere, never a time that I don’t have a child off school and never a time that my attention has to be directed to making sure emotions are regulated and life is on the right path.

Contrary to what you might think, I didn’t start out solely offering Boudoir photography. Infact I was doing more parties, products, outdoor shoots and families than boudoir clients. Why did I choose Robyn’s boudoir photography as the name then? Because I always wanted to focus on just boudoir but in the beginning I saw very little boudoir clients.

Ive had to take ‘professional’ photos in some capacity since 2011 and my career was in an environment of exceptional customer service, anxious people and images that had to be close to perfect RAW. I think it’s those reasons that have served me well over the last 3 years.

over the last 3 years I’ve seen over 1500 clients. 800 of those are Boudoir clients. The rest are everything in between.

in the middle of 2022 I decided I’d hand over the family photography to someone else and hire someone and finally fulfill my fantasy of just focusing on Boudoir (plus I really struggle not to swear in front of your families! 😵‍💫) the person I hired stayed with me for 5 months. Caitlin was brought on as social media manager/ assistant but when I became a family photographer down Caitlin stepped in, after having photography as a side hustle for herself for many years, it made sense.

I’ve built a casual, warm loving environment here and welcome all/every type of client.

I started this business to try and change mindsets, encourage women to love themselves and promote self acceptance and body positivity.

So far, it’s working 🤍
