The importance of being represented

Ok so you need a backstory here - there is never shy pressure to post any of your pictures online. I make that so clear. So fucking clear. Therefore I can only post who gives me consent to post. Always eternally grateful for whoever give me permission.

Backstory complete.

I receive multiple phone calls and enquiries a week from people who want a shoot (for whatever reason) and are nervous and 75% of the time I hear “I’m no model or size 8” and I have to do my best to reassure them most of my clients aren’t and I also promise the nerves fall away within 5/10 mins of being in my company during your session.

This is why I think it’s so important to have a variety of clients posted online so that someone somewhere can see those images and relate.

I like to think I do a good job and representing all shapes and sizes online but there’s always room for improvement.

This wonderful client from last week has given me permission to share her images and I’m so thankful for that permission.

She was nervous but smashed it out the park. I suspect I’ll be seeing her again at some point (once you get that photoshoot bug there’s sometimes no other feeling like it 😉)

I’ve chosen black and white for her gallery for no other reason than I’m vibing with it.
